At Tadley Scouts, we guide 4 to 14 year old's through a staged programme of activities, teaching them #SkillsForLife such as: experiencing the outdoors, believing in themselves and becoming an asset to their community.
The Scouts' founder Robert Baden-Powell took 20 boys to Brownsea Island for his experimental Scout Camp. Brownsea Island is now seen as the birthplace of the Scout movement.

Hampshire Scouts Founded
As Baden-Powell started to organise the Scout movement, Hampshire Scouts was formed and a County Commissioner appointed to oversea the movement in Hampshire.
6th June 1955
Tadley Scouts Founded
Tadley Scout Group was formed and registered with the Scout Association, offering Scouting to the young people of Tadley, within Silchester District.
2007
100 Years of Scouting
The United Kingdom held the 21st World Scout Jamboree in Essex, celebrating 100 years of the world Scout movement. Hampshire also held its own H007 event for the occasion.

Tadley Scouts' New Home
Tadley Scouts officially open their new purpose built hall, catering for all 6 sections within the group as well as being a community hall for other local groups & organisations.

Skills For Life Strategy Launched
Our new strategy; Skills for Life: Preparing Better Futures, was launched in 2018 with a renewed focus on preparing young people with the skills they need in life.
